Vytautas Mitalas

Vytautas Mitalas (* 1989 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian liberal politician who has been Vice Mayor of the Municipality of Vilnius since April 2019 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 2008, he completed a bachelor's degree in political science in 2012 and a master's degree in political analysis at Vilniaus universitetas (VU) in the Lithuanian capital in 2014 . From 2008 he was a member of the youth organization Lietuvos liberalus jaunimas . From 2012 to 2016 he was an assistant to the Seimas member in the Seimas office and from 2018 to 2019 he worked at Lietuvos laisvosios rinkos institutas (LLRI). From 2015 he was a board member of TSPMI alumni at VU. From 2015 he was a member of the supervisory board of municipal companies (UAB VILNIAUS GATVIŲ APŠVIETIMO ELEKTROS TINKLAI and UAB “VILNIAUS VYSTYMO KOMPANIJA”).

He was a member of the LRLS party . He has been a member of the Vilnius City Council since 2015 . In 2019 he was again on the city council with Remigijus Šimašius .

Mitalas is single.
