Liberal Youth of Lithuania
Liberal Youth of Lithuania (lit. Lietuvos liberalus jaunimas , LLJ ) is a liberal youth organization and an independent Lithuanian children and youth association in Lithuania , near the LRLS , Liberalų ir centro sąjunga , Lietuvos laisvės sąjunga (liberalai) . LLJ belongs to the European umbrella organization European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) and the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY). The 1700 members are the liberally oriented children and young people who have an interest in politics.
history
Liberal Youth of Lithuania exists since 1991. The previous organization was "National Organization of Liberal Youth" (lit. Nacionalinė liberalaus jaunimo organizacija ). In 2011 LLJ had 15 sections in different Lithuanian cities: Vilnius , Kaunas , Klaipėda , Šiauliai , Panevėžys , Tauragė , Telšiai , Radviliškis , Utena , Varėna , Lazdijai , Alytus , Marijampolė , Plungė and Jonava .
