Wä IF is a Swedish sports club from Kristianstad . The club, founded in 1935, is best known for its women's soccer team, which played in Damallsvenskan for several years .

history

The club's women's football team rose to the Damallsvenskan for the first time in late 1989. In the 1990 season she played against relegation, which was avoided by three points ahead of relegated Mallbackens IF . After a ninth place in the following year, the club finished seventh in the 1992 season, the best result in the club's history to date. In the following season he reached the last non-relegation place before 1994 after only three victories this season together with last year's climber Västerås BK the class was no longer held.
