Gerhard Wörn (born January 27, 1957 in Weil im Schönbuch ) is a former German football player.
Athletic career
Club career
He already played for VfB Stuttgart in his youth . With the VfB Juniors he won the German A youth championship in 1975 .
In 1975 he joined the club's first team, which was playing in the 2nd Bundesliga South . Between 1975 and 1977 he played 27 second division games for the Swabians and scored two goals. After promotion to the Bundesliga, he was no longer placed in the professional team in the 1977/78 season and from then on played for the amateurs of VfB.
With the VfB amateurs he won the championship in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in the 1979/80 round and, after successes against Borussia Neunkirchen and KSV Hessen Kassel in the final on June 20, 1980 against FC Augsburg with a 2-1 win -Win the German Amateur Championship too .
Selection bets
Wörn completed two international matches in the national soccer team of amateurs . On May 11, 1977 he made his debut with the DFB amateurs at the game in Mulhouse against France, when he came on for his club colleague Hansi Müller in the 5-0 success.
