The Wöste ( [ vøːstə ] ) is a peasantry in Versmolder district Peckeloh in Gütersloh .

Location in Peckeloh
The Wöste farming community extends over an area south of the Peckeloher town center. The exact boundaries of the place cannot be determined, but it can be said that the entire peasantry extends over an area south and west of the Peckeloher town center. In the west, the Wöste borders on the Peckeloher recreation area with its many lakes and campsites . The Wöstenbach , a tributary of the Hessel, flows through the Wöste .
Settlement structure
The desert is sparsely populated and has no fixed town center. Houses are spatially separated from each other here, only a few individual settlements can be found.
traffic
The Wöste borders the B 476 in the north and the L 831 in the east. Wöstenstrasse, Strängerstrasse and Wöstenkamp cross the farming community; these roads connect Peckeloh with its local recreation area .
