Wladyslaw Nikiciuk
Władysław Nikiciuk (born March 9, 1940 in Dsewjatkawitschy , Breszkaja Woblasz , Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a former Polish javelin thrower .
In 1962 he won bronze at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade , and in 1964 he was ninth at the Olympic Games in Tokyo .
A silver medal at the 1966 European Championship in Budapest was followed by fourth place at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City.
In 1969 he was eighth at the European Championships in Athens , in 1970 he won the European Athletics Cup in Stockholm , and in 1971 he was seventh at the European Championships in Helsinki .
He was Polish champion seven times (1962, 1964, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1971, 1973) and once English champion (1969). He set his personal best of 86.10 m on June 23, 1968 in Saarijärvi .
