Serge Jean Maury (born July 24, 1946 in Bordeaux ) is a former French sailor .
successes
Serge Maury took part twice in the Olympic Games in the boat class Finn-Dinghy . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , he finished the regatta with 58 points in first place in front of Ilias Chatzipavlis and Wiktor Potapov and became Olympic champion . Four years later he did not get past tenth place in Montreal . At world championships he first won the bronze medal in Toronto in 1971 , before winning the title two years later in Brest .
