Ilias Chatzipavlis ( Greek Ηλίας Χατζηπαυλής ; * May 24, 1949 in Piraeus ) is a former Greek sailor .

Ilias Chatzipavlis made his Olympic debut at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , where he took part in the boat class Finn-Dinghy in the regatta at the Schilksee Olympic Center in Kiel . With 71 points he finished the competition behind Serge Maury in second place and thus won the silver medal. When he took part in the Olympic Games in Moscow for the second time in 1980 , during which he was the flag bearer of the Greek delegation at the opening ceremony, he did not get past tenth place in the Finn dinghy. He then switched to the Star boat class , in which he played two other Olympic Games. In 1984 he finished sixth in Los Angeles with Leonidas Pelekanakis and four years later in Seoul with Konstantinos Manthos tenth.
