Włodzimierz Bielicki

Włodzimierz "Wowo" Bielicki (born January 16, 1932 in Warsaw ; † October 24, 2012 ) was a Polish set designer , screenwriter , theater director and actor .

Life

Bielicki studied at the State University of Fine Arts in Gdansk and graduated in 1960. It was associated with the Bim-Bom theater from 1958 to 1960 . At the State Baltic Opera and Philharmonic ( Polish: Państwowa Opera i Filharmonia Bałtycka ) he made his debut in 1960 with the set design for the play Harnasie by Karol Szymanowski . In the 1960s he also worked at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw and worked as a screenwriter with Telewizja Polska . He directed the Wałbrzych Theater from 1989 to 2000.
