WDDE is a public radio station in Dover , the capital of the US state of Delaware. WDDE is the first and only public radio news station in Delaware .
It is owned and operated by Delaware First Media Corporation . The station takes on various national and international programs from the NPR , the BBC World Service and Public Radio International as well as local news it produces itself.

The radio station began operations on August 17, 2012 from a studio on the Delaware State University campus in Dover. Although WDDE has a collaboration agreement with the Delaware State University and the University of Delaware , the station operates independently from these institutions.
