2009 WPA Women's 10 Ball World Championship

The 2009 Women's World Cup in 10-Ball took place from June 2nd to June 6th, 2009. The venue for the world championship, which was held for the first time by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA), was Manila in the Philippines . Rubilen Amit won the tournament, securing $ 20,000 in prize money.

A total of 48 players took part in the tournament, who initially played in eight groups of six in the mode everyone against everyone . The best of the group received a bye each, while the runners-up and thirds of the group competed against each other in knockout mode. Then it went on in KO mode.
