Quail (heraldic animal)
In heraldry, the quail is a heraldic figure and joins the group of small heraldic animals.
The animal is set in a stylized form in the coat of arms and the tinging is based on the heraldic rules. The quail is rare in the coat of arms and can be confused with the heraldic animal partridge .
The quail is suitable as a figure for talking coats of arms . Name forms such as quail, quail and wachel, for example, are suitable for this coat of arms.
