Vadim Sakharovich Rogovin

Vadim Sakharovich Rogovin ( Russian Вадим Захарович Роговин ; * May 10, 1937 in Moscow ; † September 18, 1998 ibid) was professor at the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow and author of numerous historical and sociological works. He died of cancer in 1998, leaving behind his wife Galina Ivanovna and two daughters from his first marriage. In his publications after 1989 he dealt with the Left Opposition in the Soviet Union , with the work of Leon Trotsky and the Great Purges of 1937.
