Vadim Witaljewitsch Schelobnjuk ( Russian Вадим Витальевич Желобнюк ; born April 22, 1989 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with Kristall Saratow in the Wysschaja Hockey League since 2011 .

Career

Vadim Schelobnjuk began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 2005 to 2008 . At the same time, he made nine appearances for Dynamo's professional team in the Super League during this period . After his club was included in the newly founded Continental Hockey League for the 2008/09 season , the goalkeeper played parallel for Dynamo in the KHL, in which he had a goalscoring average of 3.21 and a catch rate of 87.2% in his eight missions , as well as for Gazprom-OGU Orenburg in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division.

During the entire 2009/10 season Schelobnjuk remained without KHL use and played exclusively for the Junior Dynamos in the MHL junior league. In the 2010/11 season Schelobnjuk was under contract with Dynamo Moscow's successor team OHK Dynamo , but was used by the farm team HK Dynamo Tver in the Vysschaya Hockey League .

International

For Russia , Schelobnjuk took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2007 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2009 . At the U18 World Cup, he and his team were world champions. He was also in Russia's squad for the 2007 Super Series .
