Wagis Nasirowitsch Chidijatullin ( Russian Вагиз Назирович Хидиятуллин ; born March 3, 1959 in Gubacha , Perm Oblast ) is a former Soviet and Russian football player of Tatar origin.

Chidijatullin began his career as a football player in 1976 with Spartak Moscow . In 1979 he was with this team Soviet champion and in 1980 runner-up.

In 1981 he first moved to CSKA Moscow and in 1984 to Karpaty Lviv . In 1986, the defensive midfielder returned to Spartak and in 1987 was again Soviet champions with his team.

Chidijatullin became world champion with the Soviet U20 team at the Junior World Championships in 1977 . Between 1978 and 1990 he played a total of 58 times for the Soviet national team and scored six goals. At the 1980 Olympics , he won the bronze medal with the USSR Olympic selection. In 1982 he took part in the World Cup in Spain , but was not used during this tournament.

At the European Championships in 1988 he reached the final with the Soviet team against the eventual European champions Netherlands. In 1990 he took part in the World Cup in Italy , he was used three times during this tournament.

Chidijatullin moved to France for Toulouse FC in 1988 , where he played until 1990. From 1991 to 1993 he played for the team from Montauban and from 1993 to 1994 for the team from Labège in lower French leagues.

In 1994 he returned to his home country for one season, he played 15 games for Dynamo Moscow and won the Russian runner-up with this team.
