Wagner Fernando Velloso , better known as Velloso , (born on September 22, 1968 in Araras , Brazil ) is a former Brazilian goalkeeper and former football coach.

Career

Velloso started his career with SE Palmeiras in 1988 at the age of 21. In his ten years with the club, he completed 455 league games, only four other players took part in even more games. In 1992 he was loaned to União São João EC for one year and in 1993 to FC Santos . Velloso was injured in early 1999; his contract was terminated and he received a new contract with Atlético Mineiro . In 2005, at the end of his football career, he signed a contract with CA Sorocaba .

After a two-year hiatus, Velloso became a coach at América FC . In the same year he moved to Gremio Catanduvense de Futebol . In 2009 he signed a contract with the Paraná Clube . After a break of three years, he returned in 2012 and was under contract with Clube Esportivo Nova Esperança and SE Itapirense . Then he ended his career.
