Wahbi Abd ar-Razzaq Fattah al-Qaraghuli ( Arabic وهبي عبد الرزاق القرغولي, DMG Wahbī ʿAbd ar-Razzāq al-Qaraġūlī ; * 1929 in Baghdad ) is a former Iraqi diplomat .

Life

Wahbi Abd ar-Razzaq Fattah al-Qaraghuli is married with three children.

He studied at the College of Commerce and Economics , as well as at the University of Baghdad , where he received his bachelor's degree in 1954 . In 1962 he received his doctorate in economics in Switzerland . From 1964 to 1968 he was Deputy Permanent Representative of the Iraqi Government to the United Nations Office in Geneva . In 1968 he was Minister Counselor in Algiers and from 1970 in Beijing .

From 1972 to 1976 he was Ministre plénipotentiaire in Beirut . In 1977 he was deputy head of the economic department in the Foreign Ministry in Baghdad and was ambassador to Suharto in Jakarta and was also accredited to the governments in Canberra , Bangkok , Port Moresby ( Papua New Guinea ). In 1978 he headed the protocol in the presidential palace in Baghdad. In 1980 he was ambassador to Kuala Lumpur ( Malaysia ) and was accredited to Ferdinand Marcos in Manila .
