The constituency of Chemnitz IV was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. It had constituency number 62. For the state elections in 1994 , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the constituency of Chemnitz IV became part of one of the four constituencies in the city of Chemnitz.
The constituency area comprised parts of the southern district with the voting districts 600a to 682.
