The constituency of Zwickau I was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. It had constituency number 74. For the state elections in 1994 , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the constituency of Zwickau I became part of the constituency of Zwickau
The constituency area comprised the western part of the city with the constituencies 011 to 154.
