Wahlsdorf is a parish village in the Schierling market in the Regensburg district in Bavaria. Wahlsdorf was the seat of the municipality of the same name until 1978 .

history

Today's Catholic Expositurkirche St. Michael was built in 1722. It was not raised to the expositur until 1943. The municipality of Wahlsdorf came into being with the Bavarian municipal edict of 1818 with the suburbs of Wahlsdorf, Oberbirnbach and Unterbirnbach (Birnbach). On May 1, 1978 Wahlsdorf was incorporated into Schierling . Wahlsdorf has today (2019) 99 inhabitants, the entire district Wahlsdorf 233 inhabitants (Birnbach 129, Oberbirnbach 5).
