The Wairoa is a river in New Zealand that flows through the small town of Clevedon on the North Island of New Zealand south of the former city of Manukau City , which is now part of the Auckland Council agglomeration .
In addition to it, there are other rivers with this name in New Zealand, as Wairoa is the term for long water in the Maori language .
