Waiting for My Rocket to Come is the debut album by the American singer-songwriter and musician Jason Mraz .

The album was released on October 15, 2002 and gained widespread interest , especially through the catchy debut single The Remedy (I Won't Worry) . The third single You And I Both also brought in a significant number of radio plays in the United States and continued to make the album known. In May 2005 the album went platinum and landed at number 5 on the American Billboard 200. The guitar playing by Jason Mraz, which inspires listeners and critics alike, is striking. The first single -Auskopplung The Remedy (I Will not Worry) tells of a friend of Jason Mraz, who on cancer ill and how this experience changed his outlook on life. The line "I'm just a curbside prophet, with my hand in my pocket, and I'm waiting for my rocket to come" from the second single Curbside Prophet is interpreted by many as an allusion to masturbation . The album was awarded platinum status in the United States. Around 500,000 copies were sold worldwide.
