Wake the Dead is a melodic hardcore band from Marseille , France, founded in 2009 .
history
The group released their debut album The Things We Can't Forget on February 22, 2011 on the Bad Mood Records label from Switzerland . In September 2012 the group played a tour of Southeast Asia . This concert tour went through Singapore and Thailand (one performance each), Indonesia (four concerts) and Malaysia (six performances). Shortly before the tour, the EP Meaningless Expactations was released as a vinyl record and cassette .
Previously, the group played a European tour in February that included the Netherlands , Germany , the Czech Republic and Switzerland . The concert tour was called "Bathed In Shadows Tour". Wake the Dead toured Europe back in 2011.
Wake the Dead played as support for Karma to Burn , A Wilhelm Scream , No Use for a Name , No Turning Back and Street Dogs .
In 2016, the second studio album Under the Mask was released in Europe in collaboration with Demons Run Amok . The album was released five years after their debut album.
