Karma to Burn is a stoner rock - band from Morgantown, West Virginia , USA , consisting of guitarist William Mecum, bassist Eric Clutter and drummer Evan Devine.

history

Founded in 1993, the band produced raw instrumental stoner rock without any singers or lyrics. For the first (self-titled) album, however, a singer was hired under pressure from the record company Roadrunner Records . Karma to Burn was released in 1997, but was not commercially successful despite critical acclaim. The band then separated from singer Jason Jarosz.

All other recordings were now again purely instrumental albums. The 1999 album Wild Wonderful Purgatory was released on both Spitfire Records and Roadrunner Records, before the release of the third studio album Almost Heathen in 2001, the separation from Roadrunner Records took place.

The band broke up in mid-2002, and in early February 2009 they reunited. In April 2010 the Appalachian Incantation titled, current album was released, on which two tracks with vocals can be heard. On the one hand Waiting on the Western World with Daniel Davies ( Year Long Disaster , the second band of ex-bassist Rich Mullin) taking over the vocals and on the other hand the song Two Times , in which John Garcia can be heard.
