Waldemar Glinka

Waldemar Glinka (born January 9, 1968 in Jelenia Góra ) is a Polish long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .

He was Polish champion several times - including in the 10,000 meter run in 1996 - and in the marathon in 2003 and 2004. In Germany he became known for his victory at the Hanover Marathon 2000. In the same year he set his personal best of 2:11:40 in the marathon in Hofu .

In the marathon of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , he finished 34th.
