Waldemar Werther

Waldemar Werther (born January 21, 1867 in Weimar ; † November 30, 1932 Waltershausen ) was a German officer and Africa explorer.

Life

Waldemar Werther was born in Weimar on January 21, 1867. He was a first lieutenant in the 2nd Guards Field Artillery Regiment . In 1895 the investigative committee of the Irangi Society found him. He was murdered in 1932 and was the subject of the Waltershausen murder case .
