history
The area of the place used to be partly forested. It included, among other things, the Weißenkircherholz . The first houses were built at the beginning of the 1950s a little northeast of the train stop as part of the village of Deuerling. The settlement was called "Am Bahnhof". In the 1960s the place grew into the area of the municipality of Laaber. The name Waldetzenberg first appears on a map from 1968.
