Waldetzenberg is a district of the Laaber market in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg (Bavaria).

location

The settlement is located in the south of the municipality, 3.5 km southeast of Laaber between the A3 motorway in the east and the Nuremberg – Regensburg railway line with the Deuerling stop . In the southeast the district road R 3 touches the place. A part of the neighboring town of Deuerling is directly connected .

history

The area of ​​the place used to be partly forested. It included, among other things, the Weißenkircherholz . The first houses were built at the beginning of the 1950s a little northeast of the train stop as part of the village of Deuerling. The settlement was called "Am Bahnhof". In the 1960s the place grew into the area of ​​the municipality of Laaber. The name Waldetzenberg first appears on a map from 1968.
