There are seven officially named municipal parts:

history

According to recent investigations, Deuerling was founded on the left side of the Lab before 650 AD by Bavarians in the development phase of Bavaria, as is confirmed by finds from a row of burial grounds. Deuerling was first mentioned in a document in 1130, but already existed as a settlement in Merovingian times. At that time, settlements were usually named after the head of the settling clan . From the old spelling of the place name Deuerling one can deduce that the head of Deuerling must have been called Tiurilo (Tiurilia → Tverlinge → Deuerling). Until 1196 the place belonged to the county of Riedenburg . From then on, the area was subject to changing masters. In 1972 Deuerling came to the Regensburg district.

Population development

Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 1,667 to 2,041 by 374 inhabitants or by 22.4%.

coat of arms

Blazon: “Under the shield head divided by silver and blue in gold, two diagonally crossed black copper hammers over a black corrugated shield base.” The municipal coat of arms, designed in 1967 and used since 1968, is intended to symbolize Deuerlinger's history in a nutshell. Two crossed copper hammers can be seen on a golden shield - Deuerling owned a copper hammer with smelting works after 1580 . Above it are a blue and a silver stripe - the coat of arms colors of the Lords of Laaber , to whose rule a large part of the community once belonged. The base of the shield is formed by black waves, which mark the location of the place on the Schwarzen Laber.
