The Waldspitzbuben are a folk music duo from Leutenberg , Thuringia .

Career

The duo was founded in 1986 as "Leutenberger Musikanten". The duo consists of the musicians Maik Kramer, who is a trained roofer, and Raimar Wenig, a trained farmer and car mechanic. Maik plays the accordion , Steyrian harmonica, guitar and sings the 1st voice. Raimar plays the same instruments and sings the 2nd voice. Both had 10 years of private accordion lessons with annual exams (exam pieces such as dancing fingers , single file , preludio e fuga , and others). From 1994 both were on the road as Friesauer Waldspitzbuben . In 1997 both released their first CD with the title Wo denn nur die Musi remains… . In 1998 the first TV appearance on MDR followed in Achim's hit parade , and in 1999 another one followed in the Wernesgrüner Musikantenschenke . In 1999, the duo was named Forest rogues protect and has since appeared under this name. In 2000 the Waldspitzbuben released the CD Echt stark (MDR, MDR Radio Dieter Thomas Heck , Radio Sachsen Hitparade), and in 2001 the CD Who knows our home… (MDR, television). In the same year the Waldspitzbuben reached 3rd place in the white-green hit parade . A year later, the duo won the preliminary round for the Alpine Grand Prix . In 2003 the CD Thüringer Land was released . In 2003 the Waldspitzbuben appeared on Alles Gute with Petra Kusch-Lück on MDR. In 2004, the duo starred in the MDR film The hiking is the singer's lust . In 2005 the last CD so far was released with the title Alarm im Wald .
