Valeri Wladimirowitsch Iordan ( Russian Валерий Владимирович Иордан , scientific transliteration Valerij Vladimirovič Iordan , English transcription Valeriy Iordan; born February 14, 1992 ) is a Russian javelin thrower .
At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2012 , he won silver, and at the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow he was eliminated from the qualification.
In 2014 he finished seventh at the European Championships in Zurich , and in 2015 he did not get past the first round at the World Championships in Beijing .
He set his personal best of 83.56 m on February 28, 2013 in Adler .
