Valiulla Machmutowitsch Jakupow
Valiulla Machmutovič Jakupov ( Russian Валиулла Махмутович Якупов ; scientific transliteration Valiulla Machmutovič Jakupov ; born September 4, 1963 ; died July 19, 2012 in Kazan ) was a personality of Islam in Russia . He was the deputy of the Supreme Mufti of Tatarstan, Ildus Faisow , and head of the Muslim Spiritual Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan (Duchownoje uprawlenije mussulman Respubliki Tatarstan). He died in an attack in Kazan, the capital of the Russian republic of Tatarstan . He was one of the signatories of the Amman Message ( Amman Message ).
