The early Baroque pilgrimage church Handlab in the district Handlab in the municipality Iggensbach in the district of Deggendorf belongs to the parish Iggensbach in the diocese of Passau . She is St. Corona and consecrated to the Queen of Heaven .

architecture

The simple hall church , built in 1644, closes with a polygonal choir and has a roof turret with an onion hood on the portal side . A covered walkway and an outside pulpit are used for pilgrimage services.

Furnishing

The Handlaber Women's Day is a festival that is celebrated every year on Assumption Day , August 15th, around the pilgrimage church. More than 10,000 guests come to this every year. The day begins with a festive service at 9.30 a.m. on the Freialtar near the pilgrimage church. Then it's off for a morning pint in the Schlemmer-Wirtsgarten and the first round through the booth world.
