The pilgrimage museum in the Wies is a church history museum in the municipality of Steingaden in the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau . It belongs to the Auerbergland Museum Association .

The museum is housed in the former priory and pilgrimage hospice , which adjoins the pilgrimage church to the east . The building is dated around 1747. It has been included in the list of architectural monuments of the municipality of Steingaden .

Historical testimonies and preserved documents of the Brotherhood of the Scourged Savior are the most important exhibits of the museum, which opened in 1988, and show the history of the pilgrimage to the Scourged Savior. The exhibition includes treasures such as the first miracle book from 1746 or the painting of the transference of the figure of grace, when the Wieskirche was still under construction and only the small chapel, which was consecrated on March 17, 1744, was built. In the main room a processional figure and votive pictures can be seen on the sides.
