Walram II (Monschau)
Walram II of Monschau († 1242 ) was Lord of Monschau and from around 1237 also Lord of Poilvache . Since his father's death in 1226 he was also Mombour of Luxembourg for his stepmother Ermesinde and his half-brother Heinrich V.
Walram was the third son of Walram IV , Duke of Limburg and Count of Luxembourg , and Kunigunde von Monschau.
Before 1214 he married Elisabeth von Bar , Mistress von Poilvache, the daughter of Theobald I , Count von Bar, and Ermesinde von Luxemburg . They had at least three children:
- Walram III. , Lord of Monschau († 1266). He was married to Jutta von Ravensberg , daughter of Count Otto II. Von Ravensberg and Sophia von Oldenburg († 1302)
- Bertha († 1254), married 1) to Count Dietrich II. Von Hochstaden († 1246) and 2) Dietrich II. , Lord of Valkenburg († 1268)
- Elisabeth, married to Arnold II von Stein
