Walt Báez , full name Walt Alejandro Báez Bordon , (born November 28, 1978 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.79 meter tall defensive player Báez was part of the Danubio FC team from 1997 to mid-2005 . With this he won the Torneo Clasificatorio in 2004 and contributed to it with two goals in seven league appearances. Danubio won the Uruguayan championship in the same year, but no longer lists him as a player in the championship team. Then Báez was active at the CSD Municipal in Guatemala until the end of December 2005 . Then Báez moved to Bella Vista and ran there until the end of August 2009 across seasons in 98 games of the Primera División . He hit the opposing goal four times. In the 2009/10 season the Club Atlético Rentistas was his employer, for which he played at least three games (no goal) in the Segunda División . At the beginning of August 2010, Cerro Largo FC signed him . At the club from Melo he completed at least 21 second division matches (no goal) in the 2010/11 season. In early August 2011, Báez joined the Tacuarembó FC . For the Northern Uruguayans his usage statistics show 22 second division appearances (no goal) in the 2011/12 season. From October 2012 he continued his career at Plaza Colonia . A move to Villa Teresa followed at the beginning of September 2013 . At the Montevideo-based club, he was used in a total of 68 league games from the 2013/14 season to the Apertura 2015 and scored one goal. For the 2015/16 season he was promoted to the first division with the team. In January 2016, he started working for Club Atlético Atenas . There he has played 38 second division games so far (as of August 27, 2017) and scored one goal.
