Walter Barelli

Walter Barelli (born July 25, 1938 in São Paulo ; † July 18, 2019 there ) was a Brazilian economist and politician .

Barelli was Labor Minister from October 8, 1992 to April 4, 1994 in the government of Itamar Franco . From 1995 to 2002 he was Secretary General of the Emprego e Relações do Trabalho do Estado de São Paulo (SERT) during the governments of Mário Covas and Geraldo Alckmin . From 2003 to 2007 he was Deputado Federal for the PSDB .

Barelli was married and had three grown children.
