Walter Ebner

Walter Ebner (born March 7, 1911 in Bozen , South Tyrol , † after 1945) was an Austrian politician ( NSDAP ).

After attending primary and secondary school, Ebner completed an apprenticeship as a pastry chef. He later worked in insurance. On October 1, 1930, he joined the SA and on January 1, 1931, the NSDAP. On August 1, 1932, he was appointed SA storm leader. Between 1933 and 1938 Ebner was arrested several times for his work in the NSDAP.

After the annexation of Austria , Ebner was promoted to SA standard leader in the SA group Austria in 1938. He was also appointed to the city council (councilor) in Wels (city) . After the beginning of the Second World War, Ebner registered as a volunteer in September 1939. In June 1940 he was wounded near Châlons-sur-Marne .

Ebner joined the National Socialist Reichstag on January 19, 1943 in the replacement procedure for the late Felix Urstöger as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , in which he represented Austria until the end of Nazi rule in spring 1945.
