Walter Ferreri

Walter Ferreri (* 1948 in Buddusò ) is an Italian astronomer .

Today he works at the Osservatorio Astronomico di Torino and is a member of the IAU's "Division III Commission 20 Positions & Motions of Minor Planets, Comets & Satellites" and "Division III Planetary Systems Sciences" . Among other things, he is the discoverer of the asteroid Silvanominuto and 1984 HE 1 .

The asteroid (3308) Ferreri was named in his honor for his services to astronomy.
