Walter Harckensee

Walter Harckensee (born January 29, 1893 in Borghorsterhütten , † October 17, 1968 in Hanover ) was a German politician of the German construction party .

Life and work

Harckensee was a farmer by profession and ran a farm in Borghorsterhütten in the Eckernförde district .

Harckensee belonged to the first appointed state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein in 1946 . There he was a member of the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forestry and the Disaster Response Committee. Harckensee was originally a member of the German Reconstruction Party and became a member of the DKP-DRP through its merger with the German Conservative Party on March 22, 1946 . On June 12th, he joined the CDU parliamentary group as an intern , but without joining the party.
