Walter Jakoby

Walter Jakoby (* 1958 in Trier ) is a German scientist specializing in management and automation .

Act

After studying electrical engineering at the University of Kaiserslautern from 1977 to 1982, he worked there as a research assistant until his doctorate in 1986. He was then managing partner of Autronic GmbH for four years . In 1990 he took up the professorship for automation at Trier University and was a member of the university council there from 2004 to 2019. Jakoby is also Professeur Associé at the University of Luxembourg .

• Teaching Award of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate (2005)
