Walter Marty (high jumper)
Walter George Marty (born August 15, 1910 in California , † April 25, 1995 in Fresno County ) was an American high jumper .
On May 13, 1933, he set a world record in Fresno with 2.04 m, which he improved on April 28, 1934 in Palo Alto to 2.06 m.
In 1934 he was US champion, US indoor champion and NCAA champion starting for the Fresno State Normal School .
