Walter Myss
Walter Myss (actually Miess ; born September 22, 1920 in Kronstadt , Transylvania , † June 23, 2008 in Innsbruck ) was a Transylvanian author, art historian, philosopher and musician.
Life
He founded Wort und Welt Verlag in Innsbruck and wrote books on the art and culture of the Transylvanian Saxons and general art history. In addition, he devoted himself to humorous and philosophical works.
He was also first violinist in the Innsbruck String Quartet.
In 1952 he married the writer Eva Lubinger .

- Prize of the state capital Innsbruck for artistic creation , 3rd prize for poetry, 1958
- Decoration of Honor for Art and Culture of the City of Innsbruck, 1982
