Eva Lubinger

Eva Lubinger (also Eva Lubinger-Miess or Eva Miess-Lubinger ; born February 3, 1930 in Steyr ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

Eva Lubinger attended elementary school and secondary school in Steyr, graduated in 1949 and then studied art history, German and English at the University of Innsbruck for five semesters .

Lubinger, who began to write when she was still at school, wrote novels, poetry, short stories, travel essays, radio stories and radio plays. In addition, she was the author of a regular gloss in the weekly newspaper Present . She was a member of the Austrian PEN Club .

In Innsbruck she met the art historian and cultural philosopher Walter Miess  , whom she married in 1952 and with whom she has two sons.
