Walter Lee Sharpe III (born July 16, 1986 in Birmingham , Alabama ) is an American basketball player.
college
After going to Parker High School, he signed with Mississippi State University . There he was not used during his freshman season and therefore switched to UAB . At UAB he averaged 14.2 points per game.
NBA
In 2008 he was drafted in 32nd place at the Seattle SuperSonics and traded directly from the Seattle SuperSonics with Trent Plaisted against DJ White to the Detroit Pistons .
