Walter Sommer

Walter Sommer (born September 17, 1903 in Dessau , † missing after 1942 ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending secondary school and commercial secondary school in Dessau, Sommer spent four years as an apprentice and intern in the field of mechanical engineering. Then he was trained at the commercial college in Köthen . Then he earned his living doing the workshop inspection at Junkers engine construction .

In September 1923, Sommer joined the NSDAP and the SA . During the party's temporary ban from November 1923 to early 1925, he was active in the Lützow des Frontbann trust and in the Nazi freedom movement. Around 1925 he rejoined the NSDAP.

Sommer took over tasks for the party one after another as district deputy and city councilor, later as district leader of the NSDAP in Dessau-Stadt and finally as section leader for Anhalt and as an unpaid city councilor (police department) in Dessau.

From November 1933 he was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 10 (Magdeburg) . On October 26, 1934, he was expelled from the Reichstag and his mandate was declared invalid. Wilhelm Trippler took over for him . According to the Dessau residents' registration office, he has been missing since 1942.
