Wan Light was a Swedish indie pop / electronica duo from Stockholm .
Band history
Krister Svensson and Magnus Karnock had been making music together for a long time before they embarked on a new musical direction as a duo with producer Björn Öqvist in 2002 and developed a singer-songwriter pop with electronic sounds on an indie basis, which is successfully distributed by Labrador Records . In 2003 their first EP was released with Landmarks And Houses , in 2005 the duo brought out their second EP That Grim Reality and their debut album Carmaline . Her second long player Let's Wake Up Somewhere Else from 2006 received consistently positive reviews outside of Sweden. No further publications or appearances followed.
Trivia
- The band name goes back to a song of the same name by the group Orange Juice and was composed by Edwyn Collins .
