The path can be reached in many ways from the city and can therefore be hiked in individual sections. The Count's Park or the Sachsenklause on the Iburg can be reached a short distance along the route . The Kaiser-Karls-Turm observation tower and the castle ruins of the Iburg can also be visited here. On the Steinberg the path leads through the Buddenbergpark , an arboretum . There are also Bronze Age burial mounds , memorial stones and crosses along the way. At the foot of the Egge Mountains there is a treading pool at the Bollerwien spring.
