Wanessa Camargo (born December 28, 1982 in Goiânia , Goiás ), actually Wanessa Godói Camargo Buaiz, ​​is a Brazilian pop singer, dancer, model and songwriter.

Wanessa Camargo spent her early childhood in poverty and lived in a wooden hut in the Brazilian state of Goiás. At the age of nine, the family moved to São Paulo , where their father's career began. Wanessa Camargo is the daughter of the country and sertanejo singer Zezé Di Camargo from the duo Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano.
