Wang Shizhu ( Chinese  王 士 築  /  王 士 筑 ; * February 20, 1989 ) is a Chinese hammer thrower .

Athletic career

Wang Shizhu gained his first international experience at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , where he won the silver medal behind Tajik Dilschod Nazarow with a width of 73.65 m . The following year he took part in the Asian Championships in Wuhan and finished fifth with 71.71 m. Two years later he won the silver medal again behind Nazarow at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with 73.81 m. In 2018 he again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where he reached fourth place with a width of 71.31 m. The following year he finished sixth at the Asian Championships in Doha with 68.89 m.

In 2017 and 2018, Wang became the Chinese hammer throw champion.
