Waraseoni is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh . The city is located in the southern part of the state.
The city is the administrative seat of the Balaghat district of the same name . Waraseoni has the status of a Municipal Council . The city is divided into 17 wards . It had 25,103 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census.
The Waraseoni train station connects the city with the rest of the country. The station is part of the South East Central Railway Zone of Indian Railways .
